Jain and Xing receive Withrow Awards

Anil Jain and Guoliang Xing received Withrow awards at the 24th Annual College of Engineering Awards Luncheon on March 13, 2014.

The John D. and Dortha J. Withrow Endowed Teacher / Scholar / Service Award Program recognizes faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellence in instructional and scholarly activities and rendered distinguished service to the university and the student body.

Anil Jain received the 2014 CSE Withrow Teaching Excellence Award. This award recognizes outstanding performance in instruction as well as student mentoring and supervision in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Recipients are selected based on nominations from students.

Guoliang Xing received the Withrow Distinguished Scholar Junior Award. This award is presented to a faculty member in the College of Engineering who demonstrates excellence in scholarship.
